EBV’s vision is of a self-sustaining village where everything residents need is just a short walk away.

East Brunswick Village (EBV) is a major urban renewal by Banco Group, transforming a former industrial site into a vibrant, walkable community just 6 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD. The development includes around 750 apartments alongside retail including 9,300m2 of retail space comprising a supermarket, dining, entertainment and wellness spaces built around sustainability, with an average 7.5-star NatHERS rating and carbon-neutral operations.

PUBLIC ART AT EBV

Banco has woven public art from local artists, into the EBV village to engage with and delight the residents and help create a sense of time and place.

We are commissioning works from local artists to help create a sense of time and place; works that engage with the history of East Brunswick and the site’s industrial past, along with the culturally diverse community and urban environment of today. The artwork looks forward too, encapsulating our hopes and wishes for the future.
There will be artworks in a range of mediums including sculpture, painting, photography and murals spread throughout EBV, helping to ensure that art is a part of everyday life.
